Crusaders Welcome Georgeanna Barefoot to 16U Select Coaching Staff

Barefoot brings a wealth of experience to the Crusaders, including a Division I playing career, collegiate pitching experience, and strong relationships throughout the Southeast.

As a former Division I pitcher at Campbell University and the Charlotte 49ers, Barefoot understands firsthand what it takes to compete at the highest levels of college softball. Her collegiate career included All-Big South First Team honors and being named the 2024 AAC Pitcher of the Year.

That experience is exactly what we want to bring to our athletes.

At Crusaders Sports Association, we're not simply building teams to play tournaments. We're building a program that works relentlessly to create opportunities for our players.

Adding coaches with legitimate college playing experience is a major part of that mission.

Barefoot will bring her experience as a Division I athlete to our 16U Select players, helping them develop not only their skills on the field, but also the mindset, preparation and competitiveness required to play at the next level.

Her experience also gives our players an important resource as they navigate the college recruiting process. Barefoot has developed strong relationships with college coaches throughout the Southeast and understands what college programs are looking for in prospective student-athletes.

Georgeanna joins a coaching staff committed to providing our athletes with high-level instruction, meaningful recruiting opportunities and an environment designed to help them reach their potential.

We're building something special, and we're intentionally surrounding our athletes with coaches who have been where they want to go.
