Okay, so here’s how this works.
Our girls, they’ve all got lists. Winter break after your first 14U season is a GREAT time to make that first list of colleges.
You might say some of the schools are pipe dreams, but we teach our athletes too color outside of the lines, and that if you don’t try, the answer will always be no. You’ve got to reach and push yourself to achieve greatness.
Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
Anyway, the girls share their lists with our coaching staff.
Every 4 to 6 months, I create a list of the next 4-6 months of prospect camps for each of those schools. I push our kids to go to these camps - it’s where the magic happens.
I have a saying - “it’s not time to market, it’s time in market that counts.” Another one of my favorites rings true here too - “The grass is greenest where you water it.” All that to say that repeated exposure and relationship building matters over anything else. Go to prospect camps. Converse and interact with coaches often.
Historically, I’ve kept this list pretty close to the vest, sharing with our girls and some teams in the area that I’m close with.
However, I’ve decided to publish the list on a rolling basis here. I think there’s value in that. We’ve got a pretty good softball community in our area, and I think the more talent that schools see coming out of our area, the more they’ll pay attention to this area.
Here's that list. 👈🏻

I have talked to dozens of coaches at camps, via text, emails, phone calls - every single one of them say that more than 95% of their current roster attended at least one of their prospect camps. If they don't know you, they won't know you.
So use this list and make sure you say hey when you see me out there! This is a softball specific list, and some of you may be too young, for now. But time flies, and you'll be an 8th grader / Freshman in HS before you know it!
Oh, and if you need another school added, give me a shout anytime to let me know!
